Rodan and Fields - Redefine "Give It a Glow" Sample Pack

My cousin just became a rep for Rodan and Fields and has been having such a successful change with her skin, that I really wanted to try some products.  One evening she was having an online party, and I actually won some samples to try. These are from the Redefine line.

There were 3 sample packets included.

First up, daily cleansing mask.

Instructions: On make-up free skin, wet fingertips and massage a quarter-sized amount onto dry skin. Allow product to dry, approximately 2 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water.

I followed the instructions above and allowed the mask to dry before washing it off. While removing with warm water, I also massaged it a little more so my skin would be a little more exfoliated. It removed just like a clay mask.

My skin felt so soft and smooth! I was expecting it to be a little red because of the exfoliation but it was so light.  My skin didn't feel dry or tight after wards either. I'm honestly shocked at how soft and smooth my face feels after only one application!

Step two for this packet, is the lip renewing serum.

Directions: Twist open the silver capsule and apply onto lips to visibly smooth lip texture and reduce the appearance of lip wrinkles.

Since this is just a one time use capsule, I had to use it all at once. It was a little weird applying to my lips with a capsule. But it feels nice and nourishing. It kind of reminded me of lip treatments I have used in the past. Its not sticky, and actually lasts awhile on the lips.

I'm not sure I would repurchase this, but it does feel really nice.

Lastly, the intensive renewing serum.

Directions: After cleansing and toning, twist open the blue capsule and apply over the entire face (avoiding the eye area) to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and achieve fuller, firmer-looking skin.

This was a little difficult to open but it held the perfect amount of serum. It wasn't as watery or oily as I was expecting. It actually reminded me a lot of smashbox primer. You know that silicone feeling? That's what it was like, so I can see how it would reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Overall, I enjoyed these samples. I really liked the clay based mask the most, and could see myself using it often. The lip serum just feels like a regular lip balm/treatment so I would probably skip that unless it was a gift with purchase or really affordable. The intensive renewing serum was really silicone feeling, so if you are not a fan of that, I would pass. It feels nice on the skin, but I feel like I would need to test it longer in order to really make a decision on it. But first impressions, its nice!
