Monthly Favourites- August 2019

In hopes of staying more active and motivated on the blog, I decided I would start back up with my monthly favourites. I am constantly trying new products, so lets see what stood out to me this month!

I tried to pick items from different "categories" to keep things interesting.

Bath and Body Works - Ultra Shea Body Cream in Pink Mango Spritzer
This cream feels so rich and luxurious! The scent of this is described as iced pink mango, white cranberry, fresh pomegranate and fir balsam. I definitely smell the fruity mango, tart cranberry, and slight pomegranate. I don't smell the fir balsam, unless thats what calms the fruit down. Anyway, this smells and feels wonderful!

Clinique - City Block Purifying Charcoal Clay Mask + Scrub
I wanted to try something similar to the Rodan and Fields clay/scrub mask, without the high price tag, and the description on this seemed to fill what I was looking for. This goes on like a clay mask and has tiny particles in it as the scrub. It dries down like a clay mask, and while washing off, I would rub the water in light circles, so the beads would exfoliate my skin. I've really been enjoying this!

Benefit Cosmetics - Browvo Conditioning Primer (Nutrient Rich)
Holly from hollyshousewifelife kept talking about this in her Instastories and I was so tempted to try this, but managed to hold off. Until the most recent Sephora VIB sale. I've been using it consistently for about 3 weeks I'd say, and I think my brows are slowly growing back in!

Tarte - H2O Gloss in Salt Lyfe
I got this in the duo kit with the lipstick, and the gloss just worked better for me. Both are described as mauvey gray, but I found the lipstick seems to pull very brown on me. The gloss is so pretty and definitely pulls more mauvey, and its not too sticky.

Essie Gel Couture Nail Polish in Bodice Goddess
This is a part of the sheer silhouette collection and its definitely sheer. 1-2 coats doesn't seem like enough, so I've been doing 3. On my nail is week old polish. It holds up so well. Another beautiful colour (sheer lilac) and I can't get enough of it!
