Topbox - January 2018

Topbox is probably the most affordable subscription service that I have ever subscribed to. It's only $12 a month, which means in Ontario it only comes to $13.56 after taxes. Super affordable. Especially for those who aren't looking to spend too much, while getting to try new brands. They usually only send sample sized products, and a lot of skincare. There generally isn't a theme of the month either, but it's always a great surprise.

Each month we are able to pick a prive box, or a regular box. Usually I will post the prive choices we were given, but I've decided to stop taking screenshots of our options. A lot of them were getting repeated through the months. I decided to choose a regular box for January, and this is what I received.

As you can see, I opted for the organza bag. Like usual!

Cougar Cosmetics - Perfect Pout Lip Plumper
Perfect Pout is not just any old lip plumper. With an active ingredient of Volulip, this lip plumper mimics hyaluronic acid injection by doubling it's synthesis level but also stimulates the synthesis of matrix and dermal-epidermal junction molecules. 10mL sells for $14.99

I tried this once, and didn't like it. It kind of burned and didn't really plump the lips at all. Decided to toss it because I'll never use it.

Nioxin - Nioxin Instant Fullness
New Instant Fullness with Fusion Fibril Technology, is proven to leave hair up to 2x fuller within seconds. So anytime, anywhere, your clients can give their hair an instant fix of fullness.

I probably will never use this. Maybe I will pass it on. I just realized it's also a dry shampoo. Maybe I can include it in a giveaway, which I need to have very soon!

GlamGlow - Waterburst Hydrated Glow Moisturizer
A weightless water cream for up to 72 hours of continuous hydration. Featuring a triple Hyaluronic Acid complex, the water cream forms a moisture reservoir for instant, long-lasting hydration.

This smells like orange creamsicles! I'm not sure how hydrating it will be on my dry, dehydrated skin, but I'll give it a go once I finish up another face product.

Cake Beauty - Heavy Cream
A cream made with aloe vera, coconut oil, shea butter, and green tea extract to soothe, smooth, and hydrate dry skin.

I love this brand, and their creams. They are always hydrating and nice and thick. I'll definitely be bringing it to work to use as a hand/elbow cream.

I'm not a huge fan of this month's box. I wish there was more of a variety. A lot of disappointment with the hair and lip products. I'll use the other two though.
