Five on Friday - July 7, 2017

It's finally Friday! And that means it's time for another Five on Friday! I hope you'll join in! All you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add the Five on Friday logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools found on Smidge of This. It's easy, and a great way to find new blogs to read, and a great way to be found!

Last weekend we had a long weekend. We ended up going away for the night on Sunday. The traffic was so bad! What usually takes just over an hour to get there, it took us two and a half! We kind of expected it to be busy, but not that busy! Anyway, we had a good night away and coming home there was no traffic, which was really nice. But it messed up my posting schedule! I usually will post Monday, Wednesday, Friday.. but I ended up doing Tuesday, Thursday, and now today. I will be back on track Monday, but I think I need to add another day in there, my posts are starting to stack up!

We received some Scentsy news on Wednesday, which kind of puts a damper on selling it. They announced that as of September 1st, the prices for the bars will be going up to $6 USD each, or $8 Canadian dollars. I find that pricey considering you can go to Walmart and pick a wax bar out for less than $3 and have it right away, without paying shipping either. They also announced that all Canadian prices are going up by 10%. I don't have a large customer base, but I have a feeling that this will be the end of my selling Scentsy. Of course they try to spin it to make us feel like this is a good thing because it will mean more money for us, but when we don't have customers buying, that means there is no money. We will see what happens, they should be releasing some sneak peeks soon for the new Fall and Winter season coming. Hopefully they will have some products that will keep me going. August was also announced as 10% off month - so if you're looking to stock up before prices change, then is the time!

There was another Boxycharm spoiler that came out, this time for August! And I have to say, I'm super excited! It's the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Volume 2 palette! The mirror look like it will be awesome too. As far as I know there is no wait list at the moment, so if you're interested in getting a subscription, my link is here. You will receive July's box too, which also seems pretty awesome so far! I can't wait for it to come in next week!

I told myself I needed a no buy for July.. and I've already failed. Although, I didn't spend a lot so far. I ended up getting the Sephora x Tarte birthday gift from someone in a makeup group I'm in. The blush is in the shade Paaarty, and the Lip Paint is in Birthday Suit. The lip paint ended up being a lot more lighter than I thought, but I think it can be pulled off if mixed with something else. I also have a deluxe sample size of a Too Faced Waterproof Better Than Sex Mascara on the way, along with a Boscia Baby Foot Peel coming. Its under $40 for everything, so hopefully I can keep myself away from ordering anything else. What a bad habit!

Have you seen this Colourpop Crushed Crystal Collection? They are Crystal Priming & Setting Sprays, Crystal Liquid Highlighters and Crystal Balms. I'll be passing on the collection because I need a no buy, but they look cute!

I received this Influenster Spring Vibes Voxbox, and as part of the campaign I have to share it on my blog! I was planning on doing a full review of everything on its own, but I'm running out of time, so I'm quickly sharing it here! - And I must disclose, I got it free - but all opinions are my own!

The impress nails apply so easily, all you do is match them up to your natural nail size... cleanse your nail with the provided alcohol wipe, peel off the sticker on the back of the nails, and apply. Voila! You have an at home manicure! I like how easily they apply but I dislike how they don't sit fully flush with your nails.

The Nivea Body Oil is great! It absorbs so quickly into the skin, and never leaves behind an oily or greasy feeling to your skin. I haven't seen a change in any stretch marks, or firming, but it does make your skin feel lovely and moisturized, so on that alone, I will keep using it!

The Nescafe Instant Coffee packets are good too! They are creamy like they advertise, which is surprising because all you add is water. I enjoyed the French Vanilla flavour more then the Original flavour, but both were good. These are good to have on hand when you can't make coffee!
