Five on Friday - July 14, 2017

It's finally Friday! And that means it's time for another Five on Friday! I hope you'll join in! All you have to do is post about five things on your mind, add the Five on Friday logo (found at the bottom of this post), and join the party using the linky tools found on Smidge of This. It's easy, and a great way to find new blogs to read, and a great way to be found!

Have you guys ever tried those baby foot peels that are popular online? I kept seeing people post about it, so I ordered some originally from eBay. Well, I must have picked a bad brand, because they didn't make my feet peel, not even in the slightest. I ended up ordering a pair from Sephora. They have the Boscia brand. Well, as soon as the package arrived on Monday, I tore into it and followed the directions step by step. I finally noticed some peeling yesterday! It's definitely not as much as others, but maybe it will increase in the next few days? Or maybe my feet aren't as bad as I thought?  If anything more happens, I'll keep you updated.

My cousin is getting married next week! I feel like the time has flown by! I'm a little disappointed because the dress I had planned on wearing, won't zip up. But I can get it on! Which is a huge difference from the beginning of the year. Anyway, I have a ton of other dresses to choose from, so I'll be okay - and I'm getting super excited to see some family that are coming from Scotland, and my mom who will be coming from New Jersey!

I'm terrible at this no buy thing. Already in July I placed an order with Deceim, Scentsy, and Sephora. Scentsy was having a big sale, so I managed to pick up a warmer for $14, some discontinued bars that were half price, and some washer whiffs. Everything was less than $50 with shipping and taxes. I've never tried Deceim products before, but most are super affordable. I mainly ordered to try their hyaluronic acid, but did add two other items to the order. I'll do a separate post on that.

There were some new stores added to ebates! La Vie en Rose, Best Buy, Charlotte Tilbury! I wish they would bring Walmart back. Either way, I really love using ebates, especially with all the Sephora orders that I make. Sometimes they have double cash back promotions, so you earn even more. And the odd time they have larger amounts than double. Most companies also have additional coupon codes listed on the ebates site, so it's good to take a look there first. I have a referral link if you're interested in signing up!

Does anyone have any blonde hair tips? With my balayage (well, it's pretty much ombre instead of what I wanted) the mid section is like a brassy golden orange-ish shade. I feel like I probably need to get it lightened again in order to get rid of the brassy-ness, and get more of a blonde. However, I don't want to spend the $100+ at the salon. I've been using manic panic in ultra violet, plus a white conditioner to "tone" and it does help a little, but I'm looking for something more permanent. I have purple shampoos, and I find they aren't doing the job. I'm debating going to another hair dresser to get it fixed up properly, but again, I don't have that money right now. So home tips would be greatly appreciated!
