Boxycharm - January 2017

I decided at the end of November to sign up for 3 months of Boxycharm. I had cancelled all of my other subscriptions, and I heard great things about Boxycharm. You get 5 full size products. No other monthly subscription does that, it's usually a mix of full and deluxe size samples, or mostly sample sized items.

This actually just showed up in my mailbox, without any shipping information. I wasn't expecting it early in the month, but it arrived on January 10th.

Included in the box was a coupon code for Pur, and then the "theme" of the month is "And The Charm Award Goes To..."

See! 5 full size products!

I have to say that I'm not entirely happy with the contents of this box. We're going to take a closer look at everything.

These three products were in the spoilers. Every subscriber would get these items, just the brand of the brush was different between some of them.

Vintage - Highlighter Double - Chocolate Diamond and Rose Quartz
Add a beautiful wash of colour and subtle, sexy shimmer with this limited edition illuminating face highlighter set. Wear it alone or as a beautiful highlight over pretty blush or bronzer - the reflective pearls add radiance on contact, adding a delicate glow and diamond-like finish to the skin.

This is pretty but I can't see myself ever using it. I have so many highlighters and I think the chocolate shade would be too dark for my pale skin. I decided to pass this on.

Crown - Crown Dlx. Soft Fan Brush - SS017
A soft fan brush designed for light powder applications for all over the face as well as along the neck and decollete.

I actually don't have a fan brush, so I was excited to get one in this box.

Pur - Mineral Glow Bronzer
Mineral Glow's micronized mineral powder has rich, golden undertones to add a sun-kissed contour to your complexion. A staple for Pur aficionados, use it as a quick fix bronzer for an all-year healthy glow.

I'm sure I've said it a million times, I'm not big on bronzing my face. So I really don't use them too often. I have a few in my collection already, so I will be passing this on.

Oscar Blandi - Pronto Dry Shampoo Spray
Pronto dry shampoo is the ultimate time saver - in a spray version. It refreshes, revives, and rejuvenates the hair in a matter of minutes - no water or blow-dryer required. This dry shampoo removes excess oil and product build-up without stripping your hair while instantly boosting volume.

Ahh, I don't really need another dry shampoo, so hopefully this one is actually good.

Purlisse - Daily Lip Nourisher
This advanced treatment lip nourisher enriched with mango and shea butters, jojoba and rice bran oils, and vitamin E richly hydrates and seals in moisture. Our exclusive petroleum-free balm heals dry and cracked lips leaving them lush, soft, moist and youthful-looking.

I actually just did a beauty swap with someone for a lip treatment. It wasn't purlisse, but what timing, of course. Just my luck. Anyway, these are always nice to have on hand so it is welcomed in my collection.

Overall, I wasn't entirely thrilled with this box. The only items I was somewhat excited for was the fan brush and the lip treatment. I hope February is a good box, because that will determine whether or not I will sign up for another 3 months or cancel my subscription.
