January 2016 Favourites!

This is the first time I've done this type of post, I saw it in the Canadian Beauty Bloggers Network linkup and decided this would be a good way to get another type of post up every month, and I can share what my favourite products have been for the month!

I tried to pick a few items that I've been continuously using in January!

Tony Moly Magic Food Banana Sleeping Pack - this sleeping pack smells exactly like banana candies. It's sweet! I use this as the last step in my night time routine, and this delivers. It moisturizes my skin over night, and when I wake up my skin feels so soft and smooth. I do have to say some parts of my face almost feel too greasy when I wake up, but I'm not sure if it's because I'm using too many moisturizing products or what. But I really enjoy how thick and creamy this is. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to try a new sleeping pack!

TheFaceShop - Rice Ceramide Moisture Toner - I LOVE this toner. Especially now since the weather is so cold and skin dries out so easily. I honestly cannot get enough of it. I use it in the morning and at night, and it just makes my skin feel so refreshed and moisturized. It is a little thicker than Americanized toners, but I've grown to love it and actually PREFER it now over the other toners. This doesn't dry your skin out at all. I will definitely be repurchasing this when I start to run low. That's the other thing. I've had it for at least 6 months now, and I'm only half way through the bottle. Amazing.

Lush Cosmetics - Tea Tree Toner Water - between the Eau Roma Water and Tree Tea Water, I prefer the rose water for moisture, BUT I've been having some breakouts recently, so I picked up the smaller bottle of tree tea water. It makes my skin feel extra fresh, and I try to use it on targeted break out areas. I've had fewer breakouts since I've started using this, and they aren't as big as they usually are. Awesome in my books.

Balance Me Skin Saviours - Congested Skin Serum - I got this in a Birchbox and the sample has lasted me quite some time. It says to use it on target areas, but honestly, I've been rubbing this all over my face. I liked it so much that I ordered a full size version with my Birchbox points. It's a little pricey, but I needed to use the points on something!

B-Liv by Cellnique - Off With Those Heads - I just did a review of these in a previous post, and I loved this the most of all the products they sent to me. It has a slight sting when applied, but it lasts for about 3 seconds, and that's just how you know its working! haha. I've seen my blackheads have shrunk a little but this is definitely something you have to continuously use in order to keep seeing those results. A little goes a long way.

Younique - Beachfront Bronzer in Sunset - This is the lightest bronzer colour that Younique sells. I've had bronzers from sub boxes in the past, but never really gave them a try, I'm afraid I will just look silly because I'm as white as paper, and these just all look so dark for me. My friend sent me this as a thank you gift for making a purchase with her, so I finally bit the bullet and gave it a try. I like that I can control how dark, or light I want it to be.

On the left, I very lightly applied the bronzer, and ask you can see.. it's pretty light! It has a slight glow and shimmer.

On the right, I applied it a little more heavy handed, and I would say it's a little too much for my skin. As long as I keep it light, I think it will work!

 Wait... there's more!

Becca Poured Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone - I was scared of this at first, but I've been using it over and over again and I've been loving it. It's not BAM in your face highlighter. It looks more natural, and I've really been enjoying it. I got this in my Beautylish Lucky Bag!

Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara - I just did a full post on this a few days ago. Like I mentioned in that review, I hate that it sometimes give me raccoon eyes, but I love how full and fanned out that it makes my lashes.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Chantilly - this is the lightest shade they sell, this picture doesn't do it justice for how pale it really is. And it's perfect for my skin. I love the formula, I love the creaminess, I love that I can use it under my eyes and as a spot concealer. I will repurchase this when it runs out. It works for me and it's amazing.

Younique - Moonstruck Precision Brow Gel in Medium - I've never used a brow gel before this, and I'm wondering why I waited so long to do so! I don't go crazy with the brows, but this keeps them in place and gives them some extra colour in those "bare" spots. I'd definitely buy this again - but I'd love to see what's comparable out there!

Lush Cosmetics - Bubblegum Lip Scrub - sugar lip scrub, in the bubble gum scent. What more could you want? It does a great job at making my lips no longer dry or patchy. It also tastes great. You don't have to wipe this off afterwards either, you can just lick it off. Which makes it even more great!

Take a look at what other Canadian bloggers loved for the month of January!
