Scentsy - June Bring Back My Bar Promotion

I haven't posted about Scentsy in awhile, but I just wanted to share with my readers that the Bring Back My Bar promotion will be back for the month of June only. These are past scents that were voted back by customers, consultants, etc and will be "released from the vault" for a limited time only - which is June 1st to 30th. The 20 scents that had the most votes were:

Amber Road - Open a box of treasure, hand picked from exotic lands, to discover glowing red cedar and resinous incense.

Awakening - Invigorate your senses with an unexpected harmony of white peach and vanilla, pineapple and amber.

Bananarama - Sweet, golden, ripe bananas.

Bubblegum - The true scent of baseball-card bubblegum -- sugar and cotton candy with a hint of mint.

Cashmere - Sheer floral bouquet combines Moroccan jasmine, lily of the valley, and bergamot.

Cutiepie Cupcake - Sweet clementine and yellow cake batter with vanilla and sugary icing.

Echo - Sophisticated, metropolitan fragrance of manly spice notes, Mediterranean citrus and herbs and bitter orange.

Enliven - Wild orchid and renewing currant, blended with sweet, soft fruits and a drop of coconut milk.

Eucalyptus - Soothing, medicinal and fresh.

Flirtatious - Fruity and vibrant, a combination of green apple, grapefruit and white amber.

Flower Shop - Just like walking into a flower shop.

French Kiss - Sweet fig tenderly caressed by coconut pulp, exotic cedar and caramel.

French Toast - A perfect, light slice of bread dunked in golden egg batter, dusted with powdered sugar, and finished with a swirl of sweet maple syrup.

Grape Vine - somewhere between grape juice and Cabernet.

Hazelnut Latte - Frothy steamed milk, toasted hazelnuts, espresso and vanilla, with a dusting of cinnamon.

Love Story - Innocent pink jasmine and sensual amber embraced by luscious dark chocolate.

Orange Dreamsicle - A classic combination of fresh orange, swirled with vanilla cream.

Quiver - Innocent vanilla flower, warm sandalwood and sultry night-blooming tuberose in a seductive scent, meant to cause a shiver of delight.

Strawberry Sweetie - A fruity delight of strawberries sprinkled with sugar and vanilla.

White Sands - Night-blooming jasmine softened by coconut milk and rice, enveloped in the gentlest breeze.

There a couple of scents on here that I have never smelled before, and I will definitely be getting for myself. I'm actually taking pre-orders this weekend if anybody is interested, up until 11:59pm on May 31st.  You can send me an email if you would like to pre-order - just fill out the contact me info on the side bar!

If you want to purchase them for yourself (or as a gift!) any time during the month of June, you could use my webpage
and attach it to the "Immediate Shipping" party :) If you are shopping from Canada you won't have to change the location, but if you shop from US or Mexico, you will have to change it to that country!

Birchbox - May 2015

This is my third birchbox. I'm still a little torn if I really like it or not. Everything seems to be sample sized (which isn't a huge deal) and not really customized. I've said I'm okay with perfume for 6 out of 12 months, and I've already got it 2 out of 3 boxes. I'm picky about the scents I like, so theres that. And theres only so many lotions people can put up with! Here's my May box!

Macee Leigh - Pumpkin Masque [Review]

I've been on a little bit of a mask high. I love washing my face, then applying a mask, and just relaxing for a few minutes, letting it do its thing. I switch between clay masks, sheet masks, and now this pumpkin masque.

I've heard great things about this on my Facebook, so I was super excited to give it a try.

This is the description from the Macee Leigh website

"This pumpkin masque is the perfect way to reveal a glowing, silky smooth complexion.
Pumpkin is naturally rich with Vitamins A and C that help in the production of collagen to diminish fine lines and wrinkles. Its natural production of zinc aids in the decrease of acne-causing hormones and regulate your skin’s feel by keeping its texture balanced. Combined with the smoothing effect of Alpha hydroxy Acids, and loads of pure essential oils, it's just the right balance for fantastic skin rejuvenation."

Let me first off say, this smells DELICIOUS. It honestly smells like pumpkin pie filling, with the spices, and the creamy scent. Honestly, it smells like something you can eat.

The instructions say to apply it as a thin layer to cleansed skin, avoiding the eye area. Rinse off after five minutes. Light tingling will occur.

I did exactly that. I washed my face, and while it was still damp, I applied this all over my face and left it on for 5 minutes. It did slightly tingle, but nothing exaggerated. It felt nice and cooling. It does go on pretty lightly. It rinses off easily too.

I've used it about 3-4 times now, and I can't say that I have noticed a HUGE improvement in my skin. I have noticed after rinsing it off, my skin doesn't look so red or irritated as it may with other cleansers or masks. I feel like I may have to use this a little more frequently to see the full benefits as the product description says.

Would I repurchase this? Possibly - if I could get it discounted. It sells for $19 US and I feel it could be half of that price and I would be happy paying that. It's only 3oz so it isn't a lot. But I guess if you don't use it many times a week then it would last long. My only concern is how long is it good for? There doesn't seem to be an expiry date and it's made with pumpkin. BUT I love the smell, and my skin feels smooth, so I will try using it more each week and see if it makes more of a difference in my skins appearance!

Macee Leigh - The Face Lift [Review]

I posted that I had a few items from Macee Leigh that I wanted to review, so I'll start off with The Face Lift.

Have you ever heard of The Makeup Eraser? It's a cloth, and all you have to do is add water to it, and then you wipe your face and it removes your makeup? Well... this is exactly what The Face Lift is, except it's made by Macee Leigh, and it might even be cheaper if I recall correctly.

Macee Leigh Haul!

I mentioned in my last post that I had a Macee Leigh haul to post. If you've never heard of Macee Leigh, it's an online shop. They sell tons of products such as make up, skin care, jewellery, clothes. It's pretty much a one stop shop. It is a direct sales company so there are consultants that sell the products - but everything is done online.

I've met a few people through direct sales groups, and a few of them actually sold Macee Leigh. I had seen them posting about a few of the products and there were a few that stood out to me that I really wanted to try. Unfortunately, Macee Leigh decided to stop all orders going to Canada. They told their consultants they weren't allowed to sell to Canadians, and if they were a Canadian consultant, that they couldn't sell any more period. This made me unhappy because it affected some of my online friends, AND I couldn't try what I really wanted.

There was a product named Reveal that was supposed to be a gel/moisturizer with little beads that you "poke" and apply the product on your skin. At the time I wanted it, it was sold out. The day it was brought back, was the day they found out Canadians could no longer sell. Boourns. One of my friends did have a bunch of stock (of other items) that she wanted to sell or else she would get stuck with them. So she sold them at a discount. This is how I got to try a few products.

I ended up getting

Fiber Lashes - these are supposed to be very similar to the Younique 3D Fiber Lashes... so a comparison review is definitely needed!

Pumpkin Masque - this masque is supposed to reduce redness and smooth your skin. It also smells like pumpkin pie which is pretty delicious to me!

Face lift - that purple cloth there is supposed to be like a makeup eraser. If you've never heard of it, it's pretty much a cloth that has some makeup removing properties. All you do is run it under water, squeeze it out, and wipe your face with the cloth. One side has a bit of exfoliation. I've been using this every day, so a review will be up soon!

I didn't want to review anything on this post, just so I could get some newer posts separated! Check back soon on my Macee Leigh experience!

Indeed Laboratories - Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask [Review]

As I was typing up my previous post, I realized I should have done this review first, since I used the product first, but I guess it doesn't really matter at the end of the day! As long as I get the review up, that's all that matters! :)

Anyway, now we have the Indeed Laboratories - Hydraluron Moisture Boosting Mask.

Indeed Laboratories - Hydraluron Moisture Jelly [Review]

I recently stopped in at Shoppers Drug Mart for a prescription, and while I was waiting, I scurried on over to the clearance rack they usually have set up. It's always hit or miss. Usually it's boxed food items, or toothpaste, or just stuff I don't want or need. But this time. Oh, this time it was marvelous! There were a ton of product on that cart, and I really had to restrain myself!

180 Cosmetics Pure Swiss Hyaluronic Serum + Vitamin C [Review]

I went from having 0 Hyaluronic Acid to having 3! How exciting! It seems to be a little much all at one time, but I'm glad because now I can compare all 3 and decide which one I really like the best.

This time I will be reviewing 180 Cosmetics Pure Swiss Hyaluronic Serum + Vitamin C. I have to say that I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review - which I will be sharing with you all.

April Empties!

I didn't get through nearly as much as I was hoping this month, I feel like I'm using so much but it never empties haha. Anyone else feel this way?!
