Nailed It!

I've been seeing so many Christmas/Holiday inspired nails all over the place. On blogs, on Instagram, on Facebook. Just about everywhere. I knew I wanted to do something fun to my nails this Christmas.

One night I was bored, browsing the Walmart website, and I realized, I NEED a red nail polish. I don't even have one single bottle. I've always stayed away from red because it grabs so much attention, but I decided I had to have one.

I ended up ordering two bottles of NYC (New York Color) "In a New York Color Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish." I actually wanted a darker red colour, closer to a maroon I guess, but they didn't have any available. These were only $1.77 each. YES - $1.77, so I figured these would be good enough!

On the left we have #224, Times Square. This is more of a coral/orange shade. I referenced NYC's site before ordering these, and it looks more red online. However, this is such a pretty colour in person, I will definitely be getting some use of it. Maybe closer to spring as it seems to be more of a spring/summer colour - at least to me.

On the right we have #226, Madison Avenue. This is red. It has a light sparkle to it, which is unnoticeable unless you look really up close. I will be using this soon for my Christmas nails.

I really love NYC nail polishes. They are super affordable, and I find the consistency of the nail polish to be great.

I think I will be adding a nail section to my blog. I don't really do fancy nails, because I'm not that talented... but I will give it a try, even if they are plain, and boring, and only one colour!

*I purchased this with my own money. All opinions are of my own*
