For the third year in a row, Bite Beauty has teamed up with The Movember
Foundation to create a custom Mauvember shade just for Sephora. This
year, the shade is available in their coveted Multistick and Amuse
Bouche Liquified Lipstick formulas. I decided I would try the liquified lipstick version because I have been wanting to try one since they were released, and I figured Mauvember would be a great colour to try it with.
Inspired by her father's winning battle with prostate cancer, Bite
Beauty founder Susanne Langmuir, wanted a fun, easy, and meaningful way
for women to support the men in their lives facing health issues. Bite
Beauty's custom-blended mauve shade is a way for women to proudly
participate, spark conversation, and ultimately raise funds for men's
health during the month of November. Half the sale from each Mauvember
lipstick and 100 percent of Bite Beauty's proceeds will go directly to
The Movember Foundation.
I purchased the original Mauvember shade back in 2015. You can see my original post here - warning the pictures aren't that great because I was still pretty new to the blogging world. But I enjoyed the formula and liked the colour. This liquified version is very similar in the shade, but I would say because it is a liquid lipstick, the formula is thicker.
It applies so easily, it just glides.
As you can see, this is not a matte lipstick at all. It has a sheen, it is kind of thick, but the shade is beautiful. It wears a little longer than a typical bullet lipstick. I'm glad the proceeds go to the Movember Foundation. I missed out on the 2016 version of Mauvember, but I'm pretty happy I have the original lipstick and now the liquified version in my collection.
Mauvember is available in the month of November from Sephora only, or while supplies last. So if you want to give it a try, you need to pick it up before the end of the month!
