Boxycharm - September 2017

Boxycharm is a subscription box service, that sends full size and deluxe sample size items to you each month. I've noticed majority of the time, you will get full sized products, and you receive 5 each month. It is $21 USD a month, plus shipping. There are discounts if you sign up for 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months. I originally signed up for 3 months, and it renewed for another 3 months automatically. Everyone generally gets the same box each month, with a few variations such as lipstick colours. Or a lipstick vs lip gloss. That being said, let's take a look at what I received for my September Boxycharm!

The theme of the month for September is Boxy Baddie. I'm not entirely sure why they use these types of themes because nothing in my box screams "baddie" but whatever, that's beside the point!

Everything is full size, as always, but this month we got 6 products instead of the normal 5!

Studio Makeup - Loose Blush (Retail Price: $35)
This lightweight blush provides a vibrant pop of colour for the most natural, healthy look.

I can't see myself reaching for a loose blush so I will probably pass it on. It does look like a pretty colour though!

Pur Cosmetics - Soiree Diaries Eyeshadow Palette (Retail Price: $34)
This essential palette is filled with highly pigmented and silky smooth shadows.

I'm slowly being overrun with eyeshadow palettes, but I guess there are worse problems in the world! I really wanted to swatch this palette and play around with it, because it's so pretty, but honestly, I will be passing it on. I don't love my eyeshadow palettes or singles as much as I should, and I probably already have all of these colours in other palettes, so on it will go. Actually, I'm thinking of having a giveaway soon and I will probably include this palette. As its untouched. If you're interested in it, leave a comment below! Let me know and I will add it to a giveaway!

Briogeo - Don't Despair - Repair! - Deep Conditioning Mask (Retail Price: $20)
An Intensive weekly treatment to restore essential hydration and enhance hair's resilience to protect against future damage.

I've heard great things of Briogeo, and I'm pretty sure I have another sample size of this exact same mask. I haven't tried it yet, but I definitely will be soon! My hair needs some extra TLC since going lighter.

BareMinerals - Face Perfecting Brush (Retail Price: $28)
This patented makeup brush lets you adjust your foundation coverage by the drop for a perfectly seamless foundation application.

When this came in the mail, I kept telling myself to try it. And I kept forgetting. I have such a bad memory. Anyway, I was also accepted into a Make Up For Ever Foundation campaign through Glam Sense, so what a perfect opportunity! I will be giving this a try this week!

Colourpop - Ultra Satin Lip in Littlestitious (Retail Price: $6)
High pigmentation and a satin-matte finish in liquid lipstick form to keep your lips soft and comfy all day.

I'm not a big fan of the Colourpop Satin lips because they don't really dry down, but it's not really a big deal. This shade is way too light for me and makes me look sickly. I think if I pair it with a gloss, and really put the thinnest layer, I may be able to get away with it. But full application, just doesn't work.

MAC Cosmetics - Eyebrows in Spiked (Retail Price: $18)
Self-propelling, self-sharpening, and brow-defining. This pencil will add everything you need: shape, colour, and/or density in one streamlined tool. Like a pen, it creates its own just-right point for striking arches. It's also the perfect pencil to take on the go- no sharpener needed!

I like seeing MAC in subscription boxes, I really hope Boxycharm sends more out! This eyebrow pencil is a little on the darker side for me, but it pretty much blends into my eyebrow colour. I just have to remember to use a light hand!

This month had a retail value of $141 which is a lot! I like the variety of products because you could do your whole face. Although I will be passing on the eyeshadow and blush, I still enjoy the selection of products we receive.
