L'Oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Ritual [Influenster]

As always, I must disclose that I received this package for free, in exchange for my honest review!

I was accepted into the Influenster L'Oreal Hydra-Total 5 VoxBox! It felt like it took forever to get to me, but I was pleasantly surprised to see what was all included when I did receive my box.

The first 2 pictures are of the product card that they sent inside. It just outlined which products and line we received in our VoxBox. In the bottom picture, we have a picture of everything that I was sent. I re-organized it to match the order on the product card. From left to right, we have...
1. Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Scrub
2. Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Toner
3. Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Lotion
4. Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Moisturizer

Let's get a closer look at everything!

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Scrub
This is probably my most favourite product they sent in the package. It smells amazing! Kind of tropical and fruity! It's great! The back of the tube says to use this every day, either in the morning or at night. But as most of us skincare lovers know, it's not good to scrub your skin everyday. For testing purposes I tried it every 2nd, or 3rd day. It's gentle and easy to wash off. I don't find the scrub irritates my skin at all and it's not harsh either. However using it in my normal routine, I'd limit it to once a week. It also didn't dry my skin out at all which is always great.

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Toner
This is the second step in the ritual. Apply your toner after washing your face, with a cotton pad. I found this toner to be super watery. It also has alcohol in it, so if you have dry skin or skin that is easily irritated, you may want to stay away. I found that it didn't dry my skin out, but it didn't feel moisturizing like the toner I regularly use from TheFaceShop. This is average at best, and it isn't something I'd recommend.

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Lotion
This lotion is really for day time use, as it contains SPF 20 in the formula. I was surprised this one because it was much thicker than I was expecting for a lotion. A lotion to me is a little more watery and isn't hydrating at all. This one does provide some moisture, but as usual, I didn't find it moisturizing enough for my dry skin... and that's expected as it's for normal skin types. I haven't had a chance to try it out under make-up, but I'm afraid it would ball up on me.

Hydra-Total 5 Ultra-Even Moisturizer
This was probably the one item I was really looking forward to trying. It has a lot of claims saying it will moisturize, even skin-tone, reduce dark spots, illuminate and smooth skin. This moisturizer is somewhat rich, and thick, however I don't find it creamy. When I put it on, it leaves me with a white cast that lasts for hours. It's like it just doesn't blend in properly, no matter how many times I try. Also, it's not moisturizing enough for my preferences at least. I find I still have to apply a serum or essence before because my skin just doesn't feel hydrated with the moisturizer alone. I have noticed some redness on my cheeks has gone down, I don't know if it's because of the toner and this moisturizer, or one of them alone. But to me, this is just an average drugstore moisturizer, there isn't anything special to me, and I wouldn't repurchase it.

Were you chosen to be in the L'Oreal Paris Hydra-Total 5 VoxBox? Which ritual were you sent, and what did you think of it!?
