Bite Beauty - Mauvember Lipstick

I know I said I was putting myself on a no buy. But I failed. Yup. It wasn't even a week ago. And I've already made a purchase from Younique and Sephora. Anyway, I won't let it get me down. Tomorrow is a new day, and I will be sure to stick to it this time.

My main reason from making a purchase from Sephora was so I could purchase this beautiful lipstick by Bite Beauty, in the shade "Mauvember." If you guys haven't heard, Bite Beauty created this shade to sell in the month of November. All proceeds will be donated to The Movember Foundation. I thought this was great. And I liked the colour. So out came the credit card (ha - who am I kidding?! I've memorized it at this point) and I placed my order. It arrived within 2 business days. Pretty quick.

As soon as it arrived, I opened the box and had to try it out right away. Good timing because I was getting ready for the day, too!

As you can see, it pulls more purple on my (very pale) skin tone. I was expecting it to be a little more pink from the photos posted online, and how it looks in person. But its so pretty. You can build the coverage too, so obviously you can have it sheer or more opaque.

Excuse the super up close picture of my face lol. I wanted to show how the colour looks once its applied to my lips. As you can see it's not a bright purple! The lipstick itself is creamy. I may need to try and find a lipliner that will stop it from bleeding. But that might have been my own error, I kept rubbing my lips together.

I had my first experience with Bite Beauty from their point redemption item last month. I loved how the lipstick felt. I will get that review up soon, I really wanted to be sure that I would get the Mauvember post to go up while we are still in November. And they are also free from parabens and are made fom natural and organic ingredients!

I'm happy to see 100% of the proceeds going to The Movember Foundation instead of just a portion. I'm sure I will get plenty of use out of this lipstick because it is pretty versatile!

I was trying to link the Sephora page here, but it looks like it may be sold out. It's limited edition, so if you're in Canada and want one - you'll have to pick it up before the end of the month!

*I purchased this with my own money. All opinions are of my own*
