Banila Co - Clean It Zero - Review

I didn't go looking for this product. I stumbled upon a Canadian company on Instagram who sells Korean skin care products. I was actually looking to try the Etude House Moistfull Super Collagen Set, and then I saw this Banila Co Clean It Zero (on sale!) on their page. I needed to add another item to my cart so I could qualify for free or discounted shipping (I don't even remember now lol) so I added Clean It Zero.

If you don't know what Clean It Zero is, it's a facial cleanser. It is an oil based product that is used to help remove makeup as well as cleanse your face. Since the double cleansing method is very popular, and my oil cleanser was pretty much empty, I decided to give this one a go.

As you can see, it's not your typical oil cleanser. This is actually a balm. It comes with a little scoop, you put the balm on your fingertips and rub it around and it turns more into an oil. Then you use your fingers to apply it to your face, and rub gently until you can see the makeup starting to lift off of your face, which really doesn't take long at all. Then you rinse off with water. I usually use a cream cleanser after using this just to be sure I got all of my make up off.

This version has a slight perfume scent to it, as it is the original clean it zero. They did have a sensitive skin version but it wasn't on sale, so I just decided to try this one. Personally, the scent hasn't given me a bad reaction - which is good because sometimes it bothers me. I think next time though I would get the sensitive version just because I'm not a fan of fragrance in skin care.

I really like this cleanser. It doesn't leave an oily slick on your skin, and you don't have to use a lot of force or pressure to remove your make up. I especially love that it comes as a balm and warms in your hands to an oil, because my other oil cleanser was in a pump and it was a HUGE mess. I couldn't bring it anywhere, And every time I used it, it would leave oil all over my bathroom counter. Not nice.

Would I repurchase this? Definitely. Do I recommend it? Definitely! If you're looking to try a new oil cleanser - then I definitely recommend this one. You may be able to get a good deal on one on Amazon. I picked mine up from Bisou Beauty Bar. They are in Vancouver but will ship all over Canada, and the US!

*I purchased this with my own money. All opinions are of my own*
